We investigate minimum vertex degree conditions for 3-uniform hypergraphs which ensure the existence of loose Hamilton cycles. A loose Hamilton cycle is a spanning cycle in which consecutive edges intersect in a single vertex. We prove that every 3-uniform n-vertex (n even) hypergraph H with minimum vertex degree δ1(H) ≥ ( 7 16 + o(1) ) ( n 2 ) contains a loose Hamilton cycle. This bound is asymptotically best

We show that for sufficiently large n, every 3-uniform hypergraph on n vertices with minimum vertex degree at least (n−1 2 ) − (b 3 4 nc 2 ) + c, where c = 2 if n ∈ 4N and c = 1 if n ∈ 2N\4N, contains a loose Hamilton cycle. This degree condition is best possible and improves on the work of Buß, Hàn and Schacht who proved the corresponding asymptotical result.
